Terms of Service

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent bathroom listings or reviews
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the App or its API
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the App without our written consent
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, or violates third-party rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App (reviews, bathroom submissions, log entries). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content within the App and in connection with our services.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Reviews and submissions must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit bathrooms that don't exist or fabricate reviews.

Your poop log entries are private by default and visible only to you, unless you choose to share specific data (e.g., leaderboard participation).

We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to review, edit, or remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Bathroom submissions may be reviewed before they appear publicly. We may reject submissions that appear inaccurate, duplicative, or inappropriate.

If you believe content in the App violates these Terms, please report it via the in-app reporting feature or by emailing [email protected].

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings or by emailing [email protected]. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 months, with prior notice sent to your registered email.

Bathroom listings in the App are provided by community members and third-party data sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current status of any bathroom listing. Hours may have changed, bathrooms may have closed, and conditions may differ from reviews.

Use your judgment. We are not responsible if you end up in a compromising situation based on App data. Nature waits for no one — but we're trying our best.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $10 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING).

Everybody Poops Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law
• Pricing may change with 30 days' notice to your registered email
• Premium features are for personal, non-commercial use only
